Chardonnay occupies a cherished location on the Estate, hugging the right side of the palm-lined drive toward the Hacienda. These vines produce fruit that showcases the volcanic tuff soils of Arrowhead Slope, the salty Petaluma Gap breeze, and the cool fog it brings each summer morning. Harvested early to maintain natural acidity, fermented in stainless steel and concrete, and aged on the heavy lees, this wine is bright and focused, holding the tension and energy of the Estate.
