BLACK RASPBERRY * ROSE HIP * CEDAR
We look out on the Petaluma Gap from the Hacienda front porch and like clockwork, we can watch a thick layer of fog from the Pacific crawl through this break in the mountain range each evening and recede with the morning sun. The vineyards in this unique AVA are treated to the dramatic swings of the coast. The cold nights and warm days make for thick skins and fascinatingly complex Pinot Noir fruit. We’ve been farming distinctive vineyards in the heart of this AVA for over 10 years to make this intriguing wine that knows both the complexity of the ocean chill and the fruit-forward pleasure of valley sun.
