We wrap up our spring release tour in Chicago on Thursday, May 10th with our SCRIBE Winemaker Dinner at BLACKBIRD. The evening will start with a welcome reception at 6:00PM, followed by a seated four-course tasting menu by chefs Paul Kahan and Ryan Pfeiffer. SCRIBE vintner Adam Mariani will be pairing a special selection of SCRIBE wines with each course, including the brand new 2017 SCRIBE Estate Sylvaner.
Blackbird opened in 1997 and has since garnered James Beard awards for Kahan, including, Best Chef of the Midwest and Outstanding Chef. Pfeiffer joined Kahan in the kitchen in 2014, and together they craft imaginative Midwestern cuisine showcasing farm-fresh ingredients, simply executed yet complexly flavorful.
Tickets are $155/person, include food, wine, tax + gratuity. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
